PROFESSOR DAVID S. BERRY
Professor Berry has served as an arbitrator on tribunals established under the Convention on the Settlement of Investment Disputes Between States and Nationals of Other States (ICSID). He trained and acted as Counsel at the London Court of International Arbitration in 2007 and has served as counsel for a maritime boundary arbitration before an arbitral tribunal constituted under Annex VII of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea. He is a CIArb approved faculty member, a member of the Education Committee of the CIArb Caribbean Branch and a member of the panel of the Arbitration and Mediation Court of the Caribbean (Barbados).
Professor Berry teaches International Commercial Arbitration at the Faculty of Law, a third-year course, and is on the Approved Faculty List of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) for the following courses: Introduction to International Arbitration, Module 1 International Arbitration, Module 2 Law of Obligations, Module 3 International Arbitration. He also serves on the Education Committee of the CIArb Caribbean Branch.
